Bex Brown - Cardiff Half Marathon

It was a cold crisp Sunday morning in Cardiff City thousand of people ready to run a half marathon.

Bex Brown was one of these amazing people who run for charities. Bex has herself 3 daughters but gave up time every night to train to compete in this event. A commitment many would struggle with. Great support from her husband Will.

Bex's daughter Maddy is in the same class as Amelia at school and they are close friends it is because of this connection and our talks about Amelia and her complex heart condition that Bex decided she wanted to help a family by raising money for a Cougchex machine to measure INR levels at home.

Bex also ran the marathon in memory of her Uncle who sadly passed away from prostrate cancer.

The goal was set and training complete. Bex achieved her goal and raised £300 for us. We can't say how grateful we are to Bex every penny counts and we are forever grateful.
